Petrol and diesel cars, hybrids, electric vehicles, small and large vans, SUVs, 4x4s, motorcycles, scooters and mopeds can all be considered. We also assess accident-damaged vehicles, insurance write-offs, SORN vehicles, non-runners and cars that are no longer economical to repair after an MOT failure.
Acceptance is based on the actual vehicle and a safe collection plan. A complete hatchback parked on a driveway is different from a van without wheels, a modified 4x4 on soft ground or a damaged electric car in a basement car park. Choose the relevant vehicle guide above for the details that matter to that type.

Use the registration and Blackburn collection postcode to start the quote. Then describe the vehicle honestly so the offered price and recovery equipment fit what is at the address. Missing information can delay collection or require the quote to be checked again.

Submit the registration, postcode and condition on the Blackburn vehicle quote form. The quote is no obligation. Collection is free when the submitted vehicle and access details are accurate and suitable recovery can be arranged. Appointment timing depends on the location, access and equipment availability.
At handover, the vehicle and submitted details are checked. Payment for a scrap vehicle is made by bank transfer under the confirmed terms; cash is not used. Read how scrap car collection works for the complete quote, booking, handover and payment process.

The person arranging disposal must own the vehicle or have clear authority to act for the owner, finance company or business. A V5C is helpful, but a missing logbook does not automatically prevent collection when the required identity, address and ownership evidence can be supplied.
With the registered keeper's consent, we complete the DVLA transfer notification and provide the confirmation to keep. Vehicles sent for destruction go to an authorised treatment facility. The receiving facility records destruction and supplies the applicable Certificate of Destruction for an eligible car or light van that is completely scrapped.
